Multipoint Locksets
These Ashley Norton levers are adapted for European-style multipoint locking systems. Please read the following information about multipoint hardware before selecting a lock and ensure it is compatible with your door manufacturer's requirements.
- Levers are not spring-assisted and are free to rotate.
- The spacing for the through bolts are above and below the lock. These will not necessarily align with the existing holes of the door, however, the escutcheon will conceal existing holes.
- The 42 function is a fully dummy designed for use on the inactive leaf.
- The 43 function allows the Lever to throw the bolts, and for the thumb-turn to lock the door from the inside only.
- The 55 function is designed for use on doors which have locks adapted for use with a normal US tailpiece.
- The 55 function is supplied with a standard 5 Pin Schlage C Section Cylinder, KA or KD. These are compatible with other Ashley Norton deadbolts.
- The 57 function is designed for use on doors which have locks requiring a European profile cylinder.
- The 58 function is designed for use with a half European Profile Cylinder, which would allow locking of the door from the inside only.
- Please specify door thickness and handing on orders.
